    James says Christians should be people who put the word of God into practice - in other words, we should 'walk the walk' and not just 'talk the talk'. Why is that important? What would it mean in practice?

    One of the topics James tackles in chapter 1 is 'temptation'. When temptation comes, why do people tend to blame others and excuse themselves instead of taking responsibility for their actions? What might we do to resist temptation?
